A Bit of Background
The Maitlands/Sinclairs
Dark Devices all started from a dream of at the time, 10 year old, little girl who wanted to help children and adults from Working Class / disadvantaged backgrounds like herself. Who are very talented but do not have the sources or can Financially afford all required to get a foot in the film/tv industry. To give people a reason to believe in themself and live their dream of being in Film. This project will do that for many children and adults who will work along side some extremely talented professional actors and public figures.
This project will bring to the spotlight many issues people face daily, Mental Health, Addiction, Bullying, Relationship Break downs, ACE's (Childhood trauma). With the main emphasis raising awareness and educating on the dangers of Online Grooming for children, teens and vulnerable people.
Many people stepped forward and shared their Lived Experiences with the writer, allowing her to probe into some of their darkest moments in their life and piecing together all these Lived Experiences to create a true to life Drama. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
